How much does the school cost?

Many schools make parents fill in a form before talking about money. We would rather do the opposite: we give you the figure at first contact, before any application, so you know straight away whether it fits your budget.

What the annual fee covers

Teaching across the whole school year, delivered equally in French and English by two teachers, in a class of no more than fifteen children. Wednesday mornings are included, as are progress tracking and bilingual reports.

What costs extra

Meals on site, before- and after-school care, and the Wednesday afternoon Da Vinci Club are chosen à la carte, according to what you actually need rather than as a fixed package. Care is paid per school period, from a single morning a week.

Applying costs nothing

No application fee, no registration fee. Where many schools charge simply for applying, reviewing your file and visiting the campus are free.

What can bring the cost down

• Siblings — a reduction applies from the second child onwards, and increases for each further child.
• Tax credit — for a child under 6, half of the childcare costs qualify for a French tax credit, including wraparound care and the Da Vinci Club.
• Bursary — on merit or on income, subject to review. No family whose child belongs here should give up for financial reasons without talking to us first.

These are assessed case by case, in light of each family's situation. That is part of why fees are discussed in person rather than set out on a page.

Why a school this size costs what it costs

The micro-campus is capped at 45 children. That cap is the whole point of the school — and it is also what sets the cost: running expenses are shared across 45 families, not three hundred. A larger school would cost less per child, and could not promise that no child goes unnoticed.
