Join Da Vinci Private School

Da Vinci Private School is a bilingual French-English micro-campus in Castelnau-le-Lez, near Montpellier: 45 children aged 2 to 11, in classes of no more than 15. We welcome speculative applications and internship requests all year round.

How we work

• Classes of no more than 15 children, each one followed individually.
• Teaching split equally between French and English, with a teacher for each language.
• An international curriculum that includes the requirements of the French national curriculum.
• Assessment through observation and bilingual reports, with no marks out of 10 or 20.
• Outdoor learning trips at least once a week.

What we expect from the team

• A command of the subject, the culture and the spoken and written language, French or English
• The ability to take account of each child's differences, empathy, emotionally aware teaching
• Classroom management and digital skills
• Teamwork and cooperation with everyone involved in the school
• Reflection on one's own practice, innovation and self-directed learning
• An ethical, responsible attitude, and the ability to assess children

How we teach

Speculative applications

French-speaking teachers, native English-speaking teachers, staff for before- and after-school care or the Da Vinci Club: send your CV and a cover letter to contact@davinciprivateschool.com with the subject line "Speculative application", saying which role interests you.

Internships

We host interns whose training includes a placement with children aged 2 to 11: teaching, early years or childcare and activities. In France, an internship requires an agreement ("convention de stage") signed by your training institution, the school and you.

Your data

The information you send us is used only to consider your application. If it does not lead anywhere, it is deleted no later than two years after our last exchange. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time, at the same address.
